In a video titled “The Night Before”, Burna Boy appears as Santa with a bag of gifts. True, he does not appear in the usual red Santa’s coat, but in a classic Burberry trench coat. In an interview with British Vogue, Shakira noted that she was incredibly happy to become the face of such a large brand.
“To be honest, I was very excited to receive this offer,” said the singer. – For me, Burberry is the epitome of elegance and timeless fashion. Fashion is a constantly changing world, constantly evolving. Burberry manages to evolve over time, but always retain its distinctive style.”
Shakira also admitted that she asked to save a few images from the campaign for herself. “I really liked the blouse I wore in the video, so I asked to keep it for me. And, of course, the evening dress was a real work of art,” she said.
In a conversation with the editors, the singer shared her plans for 2023 – she is preparing to release a new album and is looking forward to this event.
2022 has not been an easy year for Shakira. In the summer, it became known about her breakup with football player Gerard Pique, and in the fall, the former couple went to court to decide on custody of their sons, 11-year-old Sasha and 9-year-old Milan. Shakira insisted that the children live with her in Miami, and Gerard Pique wanted to stay with them in Barcelona. A couple of days ago, representatives of celebrities announced the court’s decision – the singer won the case.
