1. Millet porridge with pumpkin in milk – a classic recipe

If you want to make porridge more viscous, take more milk.
You will need: 1 cup millet, 200 g pumpkin, 2.5 cups milk, salt and sugar to taste, 15 g butter.
Cooking: Boil half of the milk, add diced pumpkin and boil for 7-10 minutes. Add the washed millet and the remaining milk, bring to a boil again and cook the porridge for another 20 minutes under a lid over low heat. At the end, add salt, sugar and butter.
2. Millet porridge with pumpkin in milk in a slow cooker

It is traditionally best served with a piece of butter.
You will need: 1 cup millet, 400 g pumpkin, 3 cups milk, 1 tsp. sugar, 0.5 tsp cinnamon.
Cooking: Finely chop the pumpkin, rinse the millet and send everything to the multicooker bowl. Add sugar, cinnamon and milk, and cook in the “Porridge” mode for about 40 minutes.
3. Millet porridge with pumpkin in milk in the oven

To cook porridge in the oven, ceramic pots are best suited.
You will need: 100 g millet, 250 g pumpkin, 600 ml milk, 1 tsp. Sahara.
Cooking: Finely chop the pumpkin, rinse the millet and send everything to the pots. Add sugar and milk, and cook the porridge in the oven for 45-50 minutes at 190 degrees. If there are no pots, take the usual form and cover with foil.
4. Millet porridge with pumpkin in milk and water

The advantage is that here you don’t need to watch at all so that the milk does not run away.
You will need: 100 g millet, 200 g pumpkin, 1 tbsp. sugar, 250 ml water, 250 ml milk.
Cooking: Mix milk, water and sugar and bring to a boil. Add washed millet and grated pumpkin, and cook the porridge over low heat for about 30 minutes under the lid.
5. Millet porridge with pumpkin and raisins in milk

Optionally, you can first soak the raisins in some sweet liquor.
You will need: 100 g millet, 500 g pumpkin, 750 ml milk, 100 g raisins, 10 g vanilla sugar, 1 pinch of salt.
Cooking: Boil milk, salt, add diced pumpkin and boil for 10 minutes. Then add vanilla sugar and washed millet, and cook the porridge for another 15 minutes. Add raisins, mix and send everything for 20 minutes in the oven at 190 degrees.
6. Millet porridge with pumpkin and banana in milk

This recipe is perfect even for kids. And no sugar is needed!
You will need: 300 g pumpkin, 1 glass of millet, 3 glasses of milk, 1 banana, 2 pinches of vanillin.
Cooking: Grate the pumpkin and rinse the millet. Bring the milk to a boil, send everything there and cook for about half an hour over low heat. Mash the banana with a fork or finely chop. Stir it into the porridge, add vanillin and remove everything from the heat.
7. Millet porridge with pumpkin and apples in milk

Experiment with different varieties of apples to find the right combination.
You will need: 500 g pumpkin, 170 g millet, 600 ml milk, 1 apple, 50 g butter, 2 tbsp. sugar, 0.5 tsp cinnamon.
Cooking: Bake the pumpkin until tender and cut or grate it. Finely chop the apples. Boil milk, add washed millet and cook for 15 minutes. Add all other ingredients to the porridge, including butter, mix and cook for another 15 minutes.
8. Millet porridge with pumpkin and cheese with milk

The best option for those who do not like sweet pumpkin porridge.
You will need: 1 cup of millet, 200 g of pumpkin, 3 cups of milk, 100 g of cheese, 5 sprigs of greens.
Cooking: Boil milk and add chopped pumpkin with washed millet. Salt and cook until cooked for about half an hour over low heat. Remove the porridge from the heat and mix with chopped herbs and crumbled cheese.
9. Millet porridge with pumpkin in milk for children

Suitable even for the little ones – solid advantages!
You will need: 1/2 cup millet, 1.5 cup milk, 100 g pumpkin, 1 piece butter, salt and sugar.
Cooking: Finely chop the pumpkin, pour mo lock and boil until soft. Crush her with a pusher. Separately, boil the millet in water according to the instructions and mix it with the pumpkin mass. Add salt, sugar and butter.
10. Millet porridge with pumpkin in coconut milk

An alternative vegan and lactose-free porridge recipe.
You will need: 100 g pumpkin, 100 g millet, 2 tbsp. sugar, 200 ml water, 150 ml coconut milk, 10 g coconut oil.
Cooking: Rinse the millet, fill it with water and boil for 10-15 minutes. Whisk the pumpkin in a blender and mix it with millet and coconut milk. Boil it all together for another 10-15 minutes. Add sugar, coconut oil and spices to taste.
11. Millet porridge with pumpkin and orange in milk

The main thing is to remove the zest thinner so that it does not taste bitter.
You will need: 1 cup millet, 300 g pumpkin, 800 ml milk, 1 orange, honey, spices and butter.
