Katie Holmes, Gigi Hadid and Julia Fox: what the CFDA guests looked like and who became the best designer of the year.

Yesterday, the CFDA Awards took place in New York, which recognizes and rewards the brightest talents in the American fashion and design industry.

It was interesting to follow the event for two reasons: firstly, the red carpet is like in the good old days: from Cher to Natasha Lyon and Gigi Hadid. And secondly, it was nice to look into the lists of those awarded.

The guests of the event were Irina Shayk, Julia Fox, Diane von Furstenberg, Michael Kors, Lenny Kravitz, Amanda Seyfried, Ashley Graham, Tommy Hilfiger, Katie Holmes and others.

The best female designer of the year was named Katherine Holstein from KhaiteLo Roach became the stylist of the year (we wrote about Lo’s career on link), and Emily Bode, the founder of one of the most promising Bode brands today, became the men’s designer of the year.

The jury also recognized Lenny Kravitz as a style icon this year and presented the Innovation of the Year award to Kim Kardashian for SKIMS.
