
Due to the high content of vitamins and useful microelements, cranberries can rightly be called one of the most useful berries. And it is also good for its versatility, and is great for a wide variety of preparations for the winter – from sweet jam to strong tinctures and savory sauces. We share 20 delicious recipes!
1. Frozen cranberries for the winter

To prevent cranberries from freezing and retaining their shape, there are a couple of tricks.
You will need: 1 kg cranberries.
Cooking: Rinse and sort the cranberries, and let the berries dry. Lay them out in a single layer on a baking sheet or plank and send them to the freezer. When the berries are frozen, transfer them to bags or containers.
2. Cranberries with sugar without cooking

If desired, such cranberries can also be simply frozen in portions.
You will need: 1 kg cranberries, 1 kg sugar.
Cooking: Grind cranberries with sugar in a blender. Leave for 15 minutes and stir again until the sugar is completely dissolved. Roll the blank into sterile jars and store in a cool, dark place.
3. Cranberry syrup

This recipe will require cranberry juice, so first squeeze it in whichever way you like.
You will need: 1 cup cranberry juice, 1.5 cups sugar.
Cooking: Bring the juice to a boil and gradually add the sugar. Cook the syrup over low heat until thick, stirring. Pour it into sterile jars.
4. Cranberry tincture

Instead of vodka, you can take moonshine or other strong alcohol to your taste.
You will need: 250 g cranberries, 500 ml vodka, 150 g sugar.
Cooking: Mash cranberries with sugar with a crush, put in a jar and fill with vodka. Close the lid and put away for 3 weeks in a dark, cool place. Shake the workpiece every 2-3 days. Strain the tincture and pour into a bottle.
5. Cranberries with honey for the winter

We recommend storing the finished workpiece in a refrigerator or cold cellar.
You will need: 400 g cranberries, 500 g honey.
Cooking: Grind cranberries with a blender. If the honey is thick, melt it in a water bath. Mix honey with cranberries until dissolved and place in sterile jars.
6. Cranberry Jam

Cranberry jam is very tasty just spread on toast or serve it with cheese.
You will need: 1.3 kg of cranberries, 1 kg of sugar.
Cooking: Rinse the cranberries and boil for a couple of minutes in boiling water. Throw it in a colander and then pass through a meat grinder. Add sugar, bring the jam to a boil and boil for 20 minutes. Roll it up in sterile jars.
7. Cranberry with orange for the winter

One of the best combinations in any form is cranberry with orange.
You will need: 500 g cranberries, 1 orange, 200 g sugar, 0.5 tsp. cinnamon.
Cooking: Remove a thin layer of zest from the orange and peel the pulp from all films. Sort the cranberries and grind everything together with a blender or with a meat grinder. Add sugar and cinnamon, mix until smooth and pour into sterile jars. Store the preparation in the refrigerator.
8. Five-minute cranberry jam

The classic five-minute technology here will come in handy!
You will need: 1 kg of cranberries, 1 kg of sugar, 1 glass of water, 2 pinches of vanillin.
Cooking: Sort the cranberries, cover with water and boil for 5 minutes. Mash it with a crush, add sugar and boil for another 5 minutes after it dissolves. Let the workpiece cool, add vanillin, boil again for 5 minutes and roll the jam into sterile jars.
9. Cranberry sauce for the winter

Delicious cranberry ginger sauce, especially good with red meat.
You will need: 500 g cranberries, 200 g apples, 300 g sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 clove bud, 10 g ginger, 100 ml orange juice, 20 ml wine vinegar, spices.
Cooking: Wrap the ginger, cinnamon and cloves in a cotton bag. Sort the cranberries, peel and cut the apples, add orange juice and vinegar, and put the bag in the same place.
Add sugar and boil everything until it dissolves, and then simmer the sauce for another half an hour over low heat. Add more spices if desired. Remove the bag of spices and roll the sauce into sterile jars.
10. Cranberry adjika

This unusual fruit adjika will surprise all guests and loved ones!
You will need: 500 g cranberries, 800 g apples, 500 g pears, 3 hot red peppers, 150 g sugar, 1.5 tsp. salt, 150 ml dry red wine, 1 tsp. coriander, oregano and suneli hops, spices.
Cooking: Peel and cut apples and pears, add crushed peppers and all spices, and simmer for half an hour on low heat. Grind the mass with a blender and add wine and cranberries to it. Boil the adjika for another 15 minutes and again lightly grind with a blender. Bring adjika to a boil again and pour into sterile jars.
11. Cranberry juice for the winter

In order for the juice to be well stored in the winter, it needs to be boiled a little.
You will need: 1 kg of cranberries, 300 ml of water, 100 g of sugar.
Cooking: Squeeze juice from cranberries in any way possible. Add water and sugar to taste, bring the juice to a boil and boil for 5-7 minutes. Roll it up in sterile jars.
12. Morse from cranberries for the winter

Depending on the amount of sugar, make the fruit drink sour or sweeter to taste.
You will need: 180 g cranberries, 1 liter of water, 80 g of sugar.
Cooking: Mash the cranberries and rub them through a sieve. Pour the cake with water, bring to a boil, add sugar and boil for 5 minutes. Let it brew for 20 minutes under the lid and strain. Mix with cranberry juice, bring fruit juice to a boil and pour into a sterile jar.
13. Cranberry and lingonberry jam

If you want the jam to be completely homogeneous, rub it through a sieve.
You will need: 600 g cranberries, 600 g lingonberries, 1 lemon, 1.2 kg sugar.
Cooking: Scald the lemon with boiling water and remove the seeds. Pass it through a meat grinder with all the berries. Add sugar, bring to a boil and boil the jam for about 20 minutes. Roll it up in sterile jars.
14. Cranberry and apple compote for the winter

It turns out very tasty with a wide variety of varieties of apples.
You will need: 500 g apples, 500 g cranberries, 400 g sugar, 2 cinnamon sticks, 2-3 liters of water.
Cooking: Place sliced apples, cinnamon and cranberries in clean jars. Pour boiling water over and leave covered for 15 minutes. Drain this water and boil it again with sugar. Pour back and roll up the compote.
15. Cranberry and pear jam

Simple, but at the same time very original jam.
You will need: 1 kg of cranberries, 700 g of pear, 1 kg of sugar, 200 ml of water, 2 pinches of vanillin.
Cooking: Add 100 ml of water to cranberries, boil until soft and grind with a blender. Finely chop the peeled pears, add another 100 ml of water and sugar, bring to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. Add cranberry puree and boil the jam for another 15 minutes. Roll it up in sterile jars.
16. Pickled Cranberries

Cranberries are good not only in jam, but also in such an interesting snack.
You will need: 500 g cranberries, 1 glass of water, 5 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. salt, 5 tbsp. vinegar, 1 tsp spices.
Cooking: Boil water with sugar, salt and spices, and pour in the vinegar. Boil the marinade for a couple of minutes. Put the cranberries in a clean jar, fill it with the resulting marinade and sterilize for another 10 minutes. Roll up for the winter.
17. Cranberries in their own juice

Very healthy and low-calorie billet, and also completely sugar-free.
You will need: 2.5 kg cranberries.
Cooking: Squeeze juice from half a cranberry in any convenient way. Mix it with whole berries and heat almost to a boil. Put the mass in sterile jars and sterilize them for another 10 minutes. Roll up the lids.
18. Cranberry jelly for the winter

To make the jelly thicken faster and better, add a little pectin to it.
You will need: 300 g cranberries, 270 g sugar, 15 g pectin, 150 ml water.
Cooking: Mix pectin and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Grind the cranberries through a sieve, and the cake pour water and bring to a boil. Add sugar, boil for 10 minutes and strain this broth. Mix it with cranberry juice and bring to a boil again. Gradually add pectin and boil the jelly for another 4-5 minutes, stirring. Pour it into a sterile jar.
19. Cranberry jam with walnuts

Having tried this jam once, you will return to it again.
You will need: 1 kg cranberries, 1 kg sugar, 200 g walnuts, 200 ml water.
Cooking: Grind the cranberries with water in a blender so that small pieces remain. Add sugar, bring to a boil and boil for 15 minutes over low heat. Then add chopped walnuts and boil for another 20 minutes. Roll the jam into sterile jars.
20. Cranberry marshmallow

A very original preparation, something like candied fruits, but only more useful!
You will need: 500 g cranberries, 3 apples, 100 ml water, 100 g sugar, powdered sugar.
Cooking: Peel and cut apples, add cranberries, sugar and water, and boil everything until soft. Grind the mass with a blender and boil for another 15 minutes. Pour the blank onto parchment with a layer of 5-7 mm.
Dry it in the dryer according to the instructions or in the oven at 60-70 degrees with the door ajar for about 6 hours. Cut the finished marshmallow, roll in powdered sugar and store in a hermetically sealed glass container.
