
The beauty of canapes on skewers is that they can be made from literally anything. But if you don’t have the time and desire to search or experiment, keep 20 proven recipes! Delicious, convenient, beautiful, and also very fast!
1. Greek canapes

Especially for lovers of classic Greek salad.
You will need: 200 g olives, 300 g cherry tomatoes, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 300 g feta, 3 cucumbers, oregano and black pepper.
Cooking: Cut the cucumbers into slices, and the olives in half. Thread the tomato, cucumber, half an olive and a cube of feta onto skewers. Drizzle canapes with olive oil, pepper and oregano.
2. Canape with cheese and pepper

If you want an even more dietary option, give up bread.
You will need: 100 g whole grain bread, 150 g mozzarella, 1 zucchini, 12 cherry tomatoes, 1 red pepper, olive oil, garlic, green onion, chili, cilantro, mint, 1 lemon.
Cooking: Mix chopped herbs, chili, garlic, lemon zest, juice and 3 tbsp. olive oil, and marinate the mozzarella pieces for an hour. Cut the bread into cubes and lightly fry. Cut the pepper with the same cubes, but make thin plates from the zucchini with a vegetable peeler. Gather all the ingredients on a skewer.
3. Canape with ham and pineapple

We recommend drying the bread first in the oven or in a frying pan.
You will need: 60 g cheese, 3 slices white bread, 100 g ham, 2 pineapple rings.
Cooking: Thread bread, ham, pineapple cubes and cheese slices onto skewers. Send the canape to the oven for literally 5 minutes at 200 degrees.
4. Canape with bacon and cheese on skewers

Such canapes are also better to heat in the oven or microwave for just a couple of minutes.
You will need: 3 slices of white bread, 6 strips of bacon, 50 g butter, 100 g cheese, 3 tomatoes.
Cooking: Cut the bread into squares and dry in a pan, and then brush with butter. Cut the bacon and cheese into strips, and the tomatoes into large pieces. Assemble canapes on skewers.
5. Pancake canapes on skewers

An interesting option with pancakes instead of bread.
You will need: 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk, 2/3 cup boiling water, 1 egg, spices, 250 g curd cheese, 250 g salted red fish, 12 cherry tomatoes, lettuce leaves.
Cooking: Mix milk, boiling water, flour, egg and spices, and fry pancakes from this dough. Lubricate the pancake with curd cheese and place lettuce leaves on top. Then again pancake, fish, pancake, cheese, pancake, cheese, salad, pancake, fish, cheese and pancake. Cut the pancake cake on a canapé, put it on skewers and string tomatoes on top.
6. Canape with avocado and lime

A very easy and delicious recipe that will decorate any holiday table.

7. Canape with pepper and quail eggs

Quail eggs are the same godsend for canapés as cherry tomatoes and olives.
You will need: 4 slices of rye bread, 8 quail eggs, 80 g of cheese, 1 pepper, mayonnaise.
Cooking: Mix mayonnaise with grated cheese, cut pepper into cubes and boil quail eggs. Cut the bread according to the desired shape, grease with cheese mass and put pepper and egg on top. Collect everything on skewers.
8. Canape with cheese and mussels

The secret is in the combination of several types of cheese!
You will need: 4 mussels, 30 g dorblu, 30 g Philadelphia, 100 g hard cheese, 1 tbsp. sour cream, 2 cherry tomatoes.
Cooking: Cut the hard cheese into cubes, and smash the dorblu and philadelphia with a blender with sour cream and roll into balls. Thread cheese, cheese balls, cherry halves and mussels onto skewers.
9. Canape with shrimp on skewers

Bread with bran is best suited here.
You will need: 2 slices of bread, 5 quail eggs, 5 cherry tomatoes, 100 g feta, 10 cocktail shrimp, 1 tbsp. olive oil, herbs.
Cooking: Boil quail eggs, peel and cut in half. Fry the shrimp in butter, chop the feta into cubes, and cut the cherry tomatoes in half too. Randomly cut slices of bread and assemble the canapés onto skewers.
10. Canape with prunes on skewers

Instead of bacon, you can use thin slices of ham.
You will need: 2 ka short piece of black bread, 4 strips of bacon, 8 olives, 8 pieces of prunes.
Cooking: Soak the prunes in hot water for a couple of minutes and wrap each half of the bacon strip. Secure with skewers and send for 10 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees. Cut the bread and dry it in a pan. Assemble canapés and top with olives.
11. Canapes with canned tuna

Be sure to mash the tuna well so that it does not fall apart.
You will need: 2 slices of white bread, 100 g canned tuna, 2 eggs, 1 pickled cucumber.
Cooking: Boil the eggs and cut into circles, and cut the bread into shape and dry it in a pan. Put tuna, mashed with a fork, on top of the bread, then a cucumber circle and an egg.
12. Canape with herring and apple

Apples must be sour.
You will need: 3 slices of black bread, 1 herring fillet, 1 apple, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 100 g processed cheese, 1 tbsp. mayonnaise, herbs, spices.
Cooking: Mix grated processed cheese with mayonnaise and fragrant greens, and put it on slices of bread. Put slices of herring on top, and on top – a thin slice of apple sprinkled with lemon juice.
13. Fruit canapes on skewers

For fruit canapes, any set of fruits will do. We offer this recipe!
You will need: 100 g grapes, 1 kiwi, 1 orange, 100 g cheese.
Cooking: Cut the grapes in half, the cheese into cubes, the kiwi into slices, and the orange into slices and cut into several pieces. Put cheese, kiwi, orange and grapes on skewers.
14. Canape with ham and tomatoes

A simple everyday option with the same simple ingredients.
You will need: 2 slices of white bread, 150 g ham, 1 tomato, 70 g cheese, 1 pepper.
Cooking: Cut the bread into pieces and dry in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Cut the rest of the ingredients into approximately the same size pieces and assemble the canapes.
15. Canape with chicken on skewers

Saute chicken in curry, herbs or smoked paprika.
You will need: 300 g chicken fillet, spices, 4 cherry tomatoes, 1 cucumber, 1 pepper, 150 g cheese, 3 slices of bread.
Cooking: Beat the chicken well, fry it in one piece in spices and cut it. Randomly cut the bread, put the cheese and vegetables on top, and on them – the chicken, and secure everything with skewers.
16. Canape with sausage and cheese

Dry-cured or smoked sausage is ideal.
You will need: 120 g of bread, 80 g of sausage, 120 g of cheese, 100 g of olives, 50 g of cucumber.
Cooking: Cut the cucumber with a vegetable peeler into ribbons. Cut the bread and cheese into roughly equal pieces, and cut the sausage as thin as possible. Assemble canapés, put olives on top and secure with skewers.
17. Canape with sprats on skewers

Much more convenient and neater than large sandwiches.
You will need: 5 slices of white bread, 100 g sprat, 50 g butter, 2 eggs, 1 cucumber, garlic.
Cooking: Cut the bread, dry it in a pan and brush with butter and crushed garlic. Lay a slice of cucumber and a boiled egg on top, and halves of sprats all the way up.
18. Canape with crab sticks

A great alternative to boring crab salads.
You will need: 150 g crab sticks, 15 olives, 1 cucumber, 150 g cheese.
Cooking: Cut all the ingredients into cubes or sticks of approximately the same size. Collect cucumber, cheese, crab sticks on skewers, and olives on top.
19. Canape with new potatoes

A very original snack, especially for strong alcohol!
You will need: 2 slices of black bread, 3 cherry tomatoes, 5 young potatoes, 100 g of processed cheese, herbs, 1 tbsp. mayonnaise, garlic.
Cooking: Boil the potatoes and cut in half, and cut the cherry tomatoes into slices. Mix grated processed cheese, chopped herbs, crushed garlic and mayonnaise. Cut the bread, and put the cheese mass, tomato and potatoes on top.
20. Canape with banana and whipped cream

Amazing dessert option!
You will need: 25 g butter, 1 banana, 1 tbsp. cottage cheese, 2 tbsp. chocolate paste, 50 g whipped cream, 2 tsp. jam, 4 slices of white bread.
Cooking: Mix soft butter with jam, and brush on 1 piece of bread. Mash half with cottage cheese, and grease with 1 more slice of bread. Brush the next one with chocolate paste, put everything together, insert skewers and cut into canapes.
