Cooking: Mix milk with water, salt and bring to a boil. Pour the washed millet and cook for 10 minutes over low heat. Add butter, sugar, cover with a lid and leave the porridge to infuse for 15 minutes.
2. A simple recipe for millet porridge with milk

Boil milk over low heat and under close supervision.
You will need: 200 g millet, 300 ml water, 300 ml milk, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp. sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Boil water, salt and pour the washed millet. Boil for 10 minutes, add sugar, butter and boiling milk. Remove from heat and cover with a lid for 15 minutes.
3. Millet porridge with raisins and milk

Lay the washed raisins on a paper towel to dry.
You will need: 1 cup millet, 3 cups milk, 150 ml water, a handful of raisins, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp. sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Rinse raisins and soak in boiling water for 10 minutes. Mix water with milk and boil, add salt, washed millet and boil for 10 minutes. Add raisins, butter, sugar, mix and leave the porridge under the lid for 15 minutes.
4. Millet porridge with pumpkin in milk

Cut the pumpkin into cubes of 2-3 centimeters.
You will need: 1 cup millet, 200 g pumpkin, 2 cups milk, 300 ml water, 0.5 tsp. salt, 1 tsp sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Peel the pumpkin, cut into small cubes and boil for 7 minutes in water with milk. Add salt, millet and cook for another 10 minutes. Add butter, sugar, turn off and wrap the porridge with a warm towel for 15 minutes.
5. Milk porridge from millet and rice

We recommend using round grain rice.
You will need: 100 g millet, 100 g rice, 1 glass of water, 2 glasses of milk, a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp. sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Mix water with milk, salt and bring to a boil. Pour millet and boil for 5 minutes, add rice, butter, sugar and cook for another 7 minutes. Remove from heat, wrap in a warm towel and wait until it cools completely.
6. Milk millet porridge with nuts, berries and fruits

Any fruits and nuts you like will work.
You will need: 1 glass of millet, 300 ml of water, 300 ml of milk, a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp. sugar, 20 g butter, a handful of walnuts, 1 tbsp. peeled pumpkin seeds, half a glass of cranberries, 1 pear, 1 apple.
Cooking: Dry the nuts and seeds in a pan, rinse the berries, finely chop the fruit. Mix water with milk, boil, salt and add millet. Boil the porridge for 10 minutes over low heat. Add cranberries, apple, pear, butter and sugar. Warm up for a minute on fire, turn off and cover with a lid.
7. Millet milk porridge with vanilla

If you are afraid to overdo it with vanilla, use vanilla sugar.
You will need: 200 g millet, 1 glass of water, 2 glasses of milk, a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp. sugar, vanilla on the tip of a knife, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Boil water with milk, add salt, millet and cook for 10 minutes. Add vanilla, sugar, oil, mix and turn off. Leave the porridge covered for another 10 minutes.
8. Millet porridge with apple and cinnamon in milk

You can change the ratio of water and milk as you wish.
You will need: 100 g millet, 1 glass of water, 1 glass of milk, 1 apple, 1 tbsp. sugar, a pinch of salt, 0.5 tsp. ground cinnamon, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Mix water with milk, add salt and bring to a boil. Pour the washed millet and cook for 7 minutes. Peel the apple, cut into cubes and pour into the porridge. Stir, add sugar, cinnamon and cook for another 3 minutes. Season the prepared porridge with oil.
9. Millet porridge with cottage cheese and milk

If you use homemade cottage cheese, then the oil can be excluded.
You will need: 200 g of millet, 1 glass of water, 400 ml of milk, 150 g of cottage cheese, a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp. sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Mix water with milk, salt and boil. Pour the washed millet and cook for 10 minutes over low heat. Add butter, sugar and rubbed through a sieve oh curd. Stir and heat for 1 minute on fire.
10. Millet porridge with cocoa in milk

Cocoa can be mixed with sugar or with a little cold milk.
You will need: 200 g millet, 300 ml water, 300 ml milk, 2 tsp. cocoa, a pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Mix water with milk, salt and bring to a boil. Pour the washed millet, reduce the heat and cook for 10 minutes. Add butter and sugar mixed with cocoa. Stir and leave covered for 10 minutes.
11. Millet porridge with dried apricots in milk

Rinse dried apricots and soak in boiling water.
You will need: 1 glass of millet, 2 glasses of milk, 1 glass of water, 100 g dried apricots, a pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. sugar, vanilla on the tip of a knife.
Cooking: Mix milk with water, boil, add salt, washed millet and boil for 10 minutes. Cut the dried apricots into small pieces and pour into the pan. Add sugar, butter, remove from heat and wrap in a warm towel for 10 minutes.
12. Milk millet porridge with pumpkin and dried cherries

Be sure to wrap the finished porridge with a towel so that it is infused.
You will need: 200 g millet, 200 ml water, 400 ml milk, 100 g dried cherries, 100 g pumpkin, a pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Mix water with milk, bring to a boil, add salt and diced pumpkin. Reduce heat and simmer for 7 minutes, add millet and cook for another 8 minutes. Add oil, sugar, dried cherries, mix and turn off. Cover the pot with a lid for 15 minutes.
13. Millet porridge with coconut milk

Soy milk can be used instead of water.
You will need: 200 g millet, 2 cups coconut milk, 0.5 l water, 2 tbsp. granulated sugar, a pinch of salt, 20 g butter, berries and almond flakes for decoration.
Cooking: Boil water, salt and pour the washed millet. Simmer for 10 minutes, then add hot coconut milk and cook for another 2 minutes. Add butter, sugar and leave covered for 10 minutes. Garnish the finished porridge with almond flakes and berries.
14. Milk millet porridge in the oven

A beautiful ruddy crust will inform you about the readiness of porridge.
You will need: 1 glass of millet, 0.5 l of milk, 2 tbsp. sugar, a pinch of salt, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Rinse the millet, add milk, salt, sugar, butter and vanilla sugar. Put the porridge in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 1 hour.
15. Millet porridge with pear and milk

Clean the pear from the peel, seeds and stalk.
You will need: 200 g millet, 2 cups milk, 200 ml water, 1 pear, a pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. sugar, 0.5 tsp cinnamon, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Boil water with milk, salt and pour the washed millet. Boil for 10 minutes over low heat. Add sugar, butter and finely chopped pear. Stir and cover for 15 minutes. Sprinkle the finished porridge with cinnamon.
16. Milk millet porridge with dates and dried apricots

You will need: 1 glass of millet, 0.5 l of milk, 100 g of dried apricots, 100 g of dates, a pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. sugar, 20 g butter, cinnamon, vanillin.
Cooking: Mix milk with water, add salt, washed millet and boil for 10 minutes after boiling. Finely chop the dried apricots and dates and add to the pan. Add sugar, butter, cinnamon and vanilla. Stir and leave covered for 10 minutes.
17. Millet porridge with turmeric in milk

Porridge with turmeric quickly restores strength and perfectly invigorates.
You will need: 1 cup millet, 2 cups milk, 1 cup water, 0.5 tsp. turmeric, a pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Boil water with milk, salt and pour the washed millet. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add sugar, turmeric and oil. Stir and wrap with a warm towel for 15 minutes.
18. Millet porridge with honey in milk

Add honey only to cooled porridge!
You will need: 100 g millet, 200 ml milk, 100 ml water, 2 tbsp. honey, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp. sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Mix water with milk, salt and bring to a boil. Pour the washed millet and cook for 10 minutes. Add sugar, butter and cover for 10 minutes. Before serving, mix the porridge with honey.
19. Millet porridge with oranges in milk

Peel the orange from the peel, films and seeds.
You will need: 1 cup millet, 30 0 ml milk, 300 ml water, 1 orange, a pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. sugar, 20 g butter.
Cooking: Salt water with milk and boil, add washed millet and cook for 10 minutes. Peel the orange and cut into small cubes. Add orange, sugar and oil to the porridge. Leave the finished dish under the lid for 10 minutes.
20. Milk millet porridge in a slow cooker

The porridge turns out rich and very fragrant.
You will need: 200 g millet, 2 cups milk, 1 cup water, a pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. sugar, vanillin on the tip of a knife, 30 g butter.
Cooking: Lubricate the multicooker bowl with butter. Pour the washed millet, add milk, water, salt, sugar and butter. Close the lid and cook for 15 minutes on the Milk Porridge program. After finishing, leave the porridge in a closed multicooker for another 10-15 minutes.
