
The simplest chicken dishes will sparkle with new colors if you choose the right sauce for them. That is why we have already collected 20 sauce recipes for you – much more original than the usual ketchup or mayonnaise. Choose the option to your taste!
1. Creamy garlic sauce for chicken

One of the most versatile sauces for chicken in any form.
You will need: 220 ml 20% cream, 20 g butter, 2 pinches of nutmeg, 2 cloves of garlic, spices.
Cooking: Lightly fry the minced garlic in butter. Pour in the cream, add spices and boil the sauce until thickened, stirring.
2. Sour cream sauce for chicken

Instead of sour cream, you can take thick yogurt without additives – also very good.
You will need: 150 g sour cream, 3 garlic cloves, 50 g herbs, salt, coriander, ground black pepper, paprika and other spices.
Cooking: Chop greens and garlic very finely or chop in a blender. Mix them with sour cream and season the sauce to taste.
3. Peanut sauce for chicken

An unusual Asian sauce that is easier to prepare than you think.
You will need: 2 garlic cloves, 250 ml water, 120 g peanut butter, 1 tbsp. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. fish sauce, 4 sprigs of cilantro, Tabasco sauce, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil.
Cooking: Lightly fry the minced garlic in vegetable oil. Pour in water, add sugar, peanut butter and fish sauce, and simmer all 3 minutes after boiling. Finally, add Tabasco to taste and chopped cilantro. Stir in the sauce and serve it with the chicken.
4. Sweet and sour sauce for chicken

A simple recipe that does not require any specific ingredients.
You will need: 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 4 tbsp. brown sugar, 3 tbsp. soy sauce, 3 tbsp. ketchup.
Cooking: Mix all ingredients until sugar dissolves. Heat the sauce in a frying pan and reduce it a little to the desired density.
5. Tomato sauce with sour cream for chicken

And to make the sauce even more interesting – add some vegetables.
You will need: 2 tbsp tomato paste, 25 g sour cream, 1/2 carrots and onions, 1 tsp. paprika, 1 glass of water, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, spices to taste.
Cooking: Finely chop the onion, grate the carrots and fry them until soft in oil. Add tomato paste, mix, pour in water and add sour cream. Carcasses sauce to the desired density, add spices and at the end kill it with a blender.
6. Honey mustard sauce for chicken

Spicy, sweet and sour and very aromatic. You can add some cilantro to taste.
You will need: 3 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp. honey and mustard, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, salt and ground black pepper.
Cooking: If the honey is thick, melt it in a water bath. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce until smooth.
7. Sauce with yogurt and avocado for chicken

A variation on the classic Greek tzatziki – perfect for chicken fillet.
You will need: 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, 1 avocado, 4 sprigs of herbs, 8 drops of Tabasco sauce, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 3 cloves of garlic, spices.
Cooking: Grind greens to taste, garlic and lemon juice in a blender. Add the avocado pulp and the rest of the ingredients and beat again.
8. Chicken Teriyaki Sauce

Thick and fragrant, it is prepared on the basis of ordinary soy sauce.
You will need: 4 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp rice vinegar, 2 tbsp. brown sugar, 1 tbsp. honey, 1 tsp ground garlic, 1 tsp starch, 2 tbsp. water.
Cooking: Heat soy sauce with sugar and honey in a pan. Add vinegar and garlic and stir. Dissolve the starch in water, pour into the sauce, stirring, and boil for another 1 minute.
9. Satsebeli sauce for chicken

A spicy Georgian sauce that perfectly sets off poultry meat.
You will need: 1 glass of tomato sauce, 1/4 glass of water, 1/2 bunch of parsley, 3 cloves of garlic, 100 g of adjika, 3 g of cilantro and coriander, spices.
Cooking: Mix tomato sauce with adjika, and add water as needed. Add all the chopped greens, garlic and spices, and mix the satsebeli.
10. Lingonberry sauce for chicken

Of all the berries, lingonberries or cranberries are best suited to chicken.
You will need: 500 g lingonberries, 2 cups sa hara, 1 tbsp. allspice, 1 pinch of salt, spices.
Cooking: Mix sugar and half a glass of water, boil syrup and add pepper, salt and spices. Boil the syrup for 5 minutes and put the lingonberries there. Bring to a boil and boil the lingonberry sauce for another 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
11. Mango Chicken Sauce

Be sure to need a juicy and ripe mango, otherwise the sauce will not work.
You will need: 1 cup mango pulp, 1 tbsp. lime juice, 1/4 cup honey, 2 tbsp. chopped shallots, 2 garlic cloves, 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar.
Cooking: Grind mango, garlic and onion in a blender. Add the rest of the ingredients and beat the sauce again until smooth.
12. Mushroom sauce for chicken

For such a sauce, even ordinary champignons will be enough.
You will need: 200 g sour cream, 100 g mushrooms, 120 ml water, 1 onion, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, spices.
Cooking: Finely chop the onion and mushrooms, and fry them in oil until tender. Add water and simmer for 5 minutes. Add sour cream and spices, and sweat the sauce for another 5 minutes.
13. Sesame sauce for chicken

A popular Japanese sauce made from readily available ingredients.
You will need: 6 tbsp sesame, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 4 tsp honey, 2 tsp sesame oil, 2 tbsp. rice vinegar, 3 tbsp. vegetable oil.
Cooking: Toast the sesame seeds until golden brown in a dry frying pan and let cool. Grind it into fine crumbs in a blender, add the rest of the ingredients and beat everything together again.
14. Ginger chicken sauce

Gives an unexpected touch to any familiar dish!
You will need: 50 ml soy sauce, 40 ml honey, 40 ml lemon juice, 30 g ginger, 40 ml olive oil.
Cooking: Finely chop the ginger. Mix all the ingredients and mix the sauce thoroughly. If the honey is thick, heat it up a little.
15. Mandarin Sauce for Chicken

If you love Chinese chicken, then choose this sauce recipe.
You will need: 2 tangerines, 2 tbsp. sesame paste, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 0.5 tsp each dried garlic, chili, salt and pepper, 1 tbsp. maple syrup.
Cooking: Squeeze the juice from the tangerines and remove the zest. Blend all ingredients until smooth and add a little water as needed.
16. Basil Chicken Sauce

It is better to make this sauce in small portions, because it does not store well.
You will need: 150 g of basil, 2 cloves of garlic, 30 ml of olive oil and lemon juice, spices.
Cooking: Wash and dry the basil. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth and season the sauce to taste.
17. Quick honey sauce for chicken

Truly the fastest honey sauce imaginable.
You will need: 50 ml mustard, 100 ml ketchup, 50 ml honey.
Cooking: Melt the honey in a water bath if it is thick. Mix all ingredients thoroughly until smooth.
18. Chicken Cheese Sauce

Perfect for chicken nuggets and other similar snacks.
You will need: 100 ml cream, 100 g cheddar cheese, 1 tbsp. mustard, spices.
Cooking: Bring the cream almost to a boil and add the grated cheese. Cook cheese sauce, stirring constantly, until smooth. Add mustard and spices to taste.
19. Buffalo Sauce for Chicken

The perfect recipe for those chicken wings. We advise you to take a spicy tomato sauce!
You will need: 1/4 cup tomato sauce, 1 chili pepper, 2 garlic cloves, 0.25 tsp each salt and sugar, spices, 6 tbsp. butter.
Cooking: Melt the butter and lightly fry the minced garlic and chili. Mix everything with the rest of the ingredients and serve the sauce to the table.
20. Nut sauce for chicken

The good thing is that you can even take salted roasted peanuts.
You will need: 100 g nuts to taste, 2 tbsp. honey, 1 tsp wine vinegar, 60 ml of water, 9 tbsp. olive oil, 2-3 tbsp. lemon juice.
Cooking: Dry the nuts in a pan and grind them in a blender. Add all other ingredients and beat the sauce thoroughly again.
