
Pollock is good because it is one of the most accessible types of fish in our latitudes. It is inexpensive, and recipes with it are easy to prepare. Pollock can be used fresh or frozen, cooked in batter, baked or minced for meatballs. The choice depends only on your preferences!
1. Fried pollock with mustard

The most ordinary fried pollock according to this recipe is very juicy and fragrant.
You will need: 500 g pollock, 1 egg, 1 tsp. mustard, 3 tbsp. breadcrumbs, spices.
Cooking: Coarsely chop the pollock fillet and sprinkle with spices. Whisk the egg with the mustard and dip the fish pieces. Roll them in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan on both sides.
2. Pollock with rice

There are different ways to cook pollock immediately with a side dish. This time we offer to do it in a pan!
You will need: 600 g of pollock, 200 g of rice, 1 onion, 400 ml of water, 1 carrot, spices.
Cooking: Clean pollock from bones and skin, and finely chop. Chop the onion and fry until golden. Add grated carrots to it, and fry for a couple more minutes. Then add pieces of pollock and continue to fry, stirring. Add washed rice there, season and fill with water. Cook everything together under a lid over low heat until the rice is ready.
3. Stewed pollock with onions

The easiest and fastest way to cook pollock at home.
You will need: 1 kg of pollock, 2 onions, spices.
Cooking: Clean the fish, cut into large pieces and put in a saucepan or any suitable dish. There also coarsely chop the onion, sprinkle with spices, add a little oil and simmer everything over low heat under the lid for about 15 minutes. You may not mix.
4. Pollock with vegetables

Such a beautiful dish, despite its simplicity, will decorate even a festive table. We advise you to sprinkle it with chopped herbs and chili.
You will need: 700 g of pollock, 2 tbsp. flour, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 bell pepper, 100 g green peas, 120 g sour cream, 100 ml water, spices.
Cooking: Coarsely chop the peeled pollock, season and leave for 10 minutes. Roll each piece of fish in flour and fry until golden on both sides. Finely chop the onion, carrot and bell pepper, and fry separately until soft.
Add green peas to vegetables and lay pollock. Mix sour cream with water, pour in the same place and simmer the dish for about 10-15 minutes under a lid over low heat.
5. Pollock omelet

This quick and easy pollock dish can even be prepared for breakfast. The main thing is to defrost the fish in advance.
You will need: 2 pollock fillets, 1 onion, 4 eggs, 1 glass of milk, spices, flour.
Cooking: Cut pollock into pieces, roll in flour with spices and spread in a pan. Cut the onion into feathers and spread it there. Fry everything on one side, turn over and fill with eggs beaten with milk. Cook the omelet with the lid on until done.
6. Pollack cutlets with bread

We recommend adding soaked bread to pollock minced meat to make it more tender.
You will need: 400 g of pollock, 1 egg, 70 g of bread, 50 ml of milk, 1 onion, spices, 2 tbsp. flour.
Cooking: Soak bread in milk. Grind fish with onions in a blender or with a meat grinder. Add bread there, and then the egg and spices. Mix the minced meat, form cutlets, roll in flour and fry.
7. Pollock with onions and carrots

One of the classic ways of cooking not only pollock, but also any white fish is with carrots and onions.
You will need: 1 kg of pollock, 1 bay leaf, 4 carrots, 4 onions, 3 tbsp. tomato paste, 2 tbsp. vinegar, spices.
Cooking: Coarsely chop pollock and boil with bay leaf for about 15 minutes after boiling. Break into small pieces and separate from the bones. Finely chop the onion and fry until golden.
Add grated carrots, fry for a couple more minutes, and then add tomato paste and spices. Stew everything together for 5-7 minutes over low heat and pour in the vinegar. Lay vegetables and pollock in layers, and send overnight in the refrigerator.
8. Pollock and zucchini casserole

All fans of diets and proper nutrition should definitely pay attention to this recipe!
You will need: 300 g of pollock, 500 g of zucchini, 70 g of cheese, 3 tbsp. sour cream, 1 egg, spices.
Cooking: Cut the zucchini into random slices and lay out in a mold. Put pieces of pollock fillet on top and sprinkle with spices. Beat the egg with sour cream and pour over the casserole. Sprinkle it with grated cheese and cook for 30-35 minutes in the oven at 190 degrees.
9. Pollack pate

For all its simplicity, the shtet is very soft. It will definitely please even gourmets!
You will need: 1 pollock, 1 onion, 0.5 carrots, 1 garlic clove, 40 g butter, 10 olives, 3 sprigs of dill, spices.
Cooking: Cut pollock into large pieces and boil in boiling water with spices for about 10-15 minutes over low heat. Cool down and get rid of the bones. Finely chop the onion, carrot and garlic and fry until soft. Send vegetables with pollock to a blender, beat and season to taste. Add chopped dill, olives and soft butter, and mix.
10. Pollock in tomato juice

Another way to bake pollock in an original way. By the way, the dish turns out to be absolutely dietary!
You will need: 500 g of pollock, 1 carrot, 200 ml of tomato juice, spices.
Cooking: Peel pollock, cut and roll in spices. Cut the carrots into large circles and lay them on the bottom of the mold. Spread the fish on top, pour everything with tomato sauce and bake under foil for about 25 minutes at 190 degrees in the oven.
11. Pollock in pots

Yes, and immediately with a vegetable side dish! And what a fragrance for the whole house!
You will need: 500 g pollock, 150 g carrots, 150 g onions, 600 g potatoes, 4 tbsp. soy sauce, 200 g sour cream, 200 ml water, spices.
Cooking: Cut the pollock fillet into strips and marinate for 20 minutes in soy sauce and spices. Cut all vegetables into cubes. Put in layers in pots: potatoes, onions, carrots and pollock. Pour everything with a mixture of sour cream and water, cover with lids and bake the pots in the oven for about 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
12. Pollock in a slow cooker

A simple recipe for fragrant pollock with vegetables in sour cream sauce. This time in a slow cooker!
You will need: 1 kg of pollock, 1 carrot, 1 tbsp. flour, 100 g sour cream, 100 ml water, 1 garlic clove, spices.
Cooking: Coarsely chop the cleaned fish and mix with flour and spices. Put a little oil and grated carrots into the bowl, and cook in the frying mode for 10 minutes. Add pollock and crushed garlic. Pour everything with a mixture of water and sour cream, and cook for 40 minutes under the lid in the “Extinguishing” mode.
13. Pollock with beets in the oven

A very unusual and budget pollock dish for the whole family for every day.
You will need: 4 carcasses of pollock, 2-3 baked beets, 1 onion, 0.5 lemon, 400 g sour cream, 100 g cheese, 2 tbsp. water, 0.5 bunch of dill, spices.
Cooking: Clean pollock from bones and skin, cut, sprinkle with lemon juice and put in a mold. Top with thinly sliced onion and roasted beetroot slices. Mix sour cream with water, spices and chopped dill, and pour over everything. Bake the dish in the oven at 200 degrees for 25 minutes, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for another 5 minutes.
14. Pollock with pickled cucumbers in the oven

A very interesting pollock recipe with vegetables for those who are tired of frying onions and carrots.
You will need: 500 g of pollock, 250 g of sour cream, 2 pickled cucumbers, 5 sprigs of dill, 1 clove of garlic, spices.
Cooking: Cut pollock into pieces, roll in spices and put in a mold. Grate the cucumbers, chop the dill and garlic, and mix everything with sour cream. Pour pollock and leave for half an hour in the refrigerator, and then bake in the oven for about 30 minutes at 190 degrees.
15. Pollock in pita bread

No worse than pies, but it is much easier to prepare, because you do not need to spend energy on the dough.
You will need: 2 sheets of pita bread, 150 g of pollock, 2 tomatoes, 1 onion, 50 g of sour cream, 25 g of mayonnaise, spices.
Cooking: Peel and cut pollock into pieces, rub with spices and leave for 15 minutes. Mix sour cream with mayonnaise, and cut onions and tomatoes into circles. Put onion circles and pollock on pita bread. Lubricate with sour cream, put tomatoes on top and roll tight rolls. Cook them in the oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes under foil and another 10 minutes without it.
16. Grilled pollock

The perfect recipe for pollock in the midst of picnic and barbecue season!
You will need: 1 kg of pollock, 4 tbsp. soy sauce, 3 tbsp mayonnaise, spices, herbs.
Cooking: Mix mayonnaise, soy sauce, spices and chopped herbs. Coat pollock fillets with marinade and leave for a couple of hours or even overnight. Grill the fish on a greased grate on both sides.
17. Delicate cutlets from pollock

There are different ways to cook minced fish. This time we offer a recipe with sour cream and soy sauce!
You will need: 1 kg of pollock, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, 2 tbsp. sour cream, 70 ml of water, 4 tbsp. breadcrumbs, 3 tbsp. semolina, 1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 50 g butter, 1 egg, spices.
Cooking: Mix sour cream, warm water and soy sauce. Add crackers and leave to swell. Pass the pollock fillet with onions through a meat grinder. Add spices, egg, garlic, swollen crackers, semolina and soft butter. Stir the minced meat, send it to the refrigerator for half an hour, andthen form cutlets and fry on both sides.
18. Pollock in broth

An unusual way to cook pollock in fragrant fish broth right in the pan.
You will need: 300 g of pollock, 40 g of onion, 40 g of carrots, 350 ml of water, spices.
Cooking: Finely chop the onion and carrots and fry until soft. Put pieces of pollock there, cover with a lid and simmer for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle everything with spices, pour in water and cook pollock in the broth for another 15-20 minutes under the lid.
19. Stewed pollock with potatoes

It’s so easy and simple to cook fish right away with a side dish. A very satisfying dish!
You will need: 1 kg pollock, 4 potatoes, 100 g sour cream, 1 onion, spices.
Cooking: Cut pollock into portioned pieces, and potatoes into circles. Finely chop the onion and fry until translucent. Rub the fish with spices and send to the onion. Fry for 2-3 more minutes. Add potatoes, fry for another 3 minutes, and pour sour cream over everything. Add a little water so that it almost covers the dish, and simmer everything under the lid over low heat for 20-25 minutes.
20. Pollock with tomatoes and cheese

Classic cheese casserole in the oven. Serve it with rice or boiled potatoes.
You will need: 600 g of pollock, 1 onion, 1-2 tomatoes, 1 clove of garlic, 70 g of cheese, 3 tbsp. sour cream, spices.
Cooking: Cut the onion into large rings and put on the bottom of the mold. Peel and cut the pollock, and put it on the onion. Mix sour cream with crushed garlic and spices, and brush over the fish. Spread tomato slices on top, sprinkle everything with grated cheese and bake pollock in the oven for about 30 minutes at 200 degrees.
