1. Plum jam – a classic recipe
The easiest option without additives and thickeners.
You will need: 900 g plums, 300 g sugar, 50 ml water.
Cooking: Remove the pits from the plum, add water and boil until soft. Grind the plum with a blender, add sugar and boil the jam for about 1 hour on minimum heat without thickening. Roll it up in sterile jars.
2. Pectin Plum Jam
The plum itself thickens well, but the addition of pectin speeds up the cooking process.
You will need: 2 kg plums, 1.5 kg sugar, 15 g pectin, 100 ml water.
Cooking: Remove the seeds from the plum, add sugar and water, and boil for half an hour until soft. Grind with a blender and boil the jam for another half hour. Mix pectin and a couple of tablespoons of sugar, and add it 5 minutes before the end of cooking, stirring. Roll the jam into sterile jars.
3. Plum jam with gelfix
Gelfix is good because it was created specifically for canning, so it is convenient to use.
You will need: 1 kg of plum, 500 g of granulated sugar, 1 pack of gelfix.
Cooking: Remove the pits from the plum and chop the fruit in a blender. Mix gelfix and 2 tablespoons of sugar, send to the drain, stir and bring to a boil. Boil the workpiece for 3 minutes and add the remaining sugar. Bring to a boil again, boil the jam for another 3 minutes and roll it into sterile jars.
4. Plum jam with agar-agar
If you want to get rid of pieces of skin, then rub the plum through a sieve.
You will need: 2.5 kg of plums, 1.5 kg of sugar, 10 g of agar-agar, 2 pinches of citric acid.
Cooking: Randomly cut the plum, sprinkle with sugar and leave overnight. Bring to a boil and boil the jam for 5 minutes. Grind it with a blender, add citric acid and boil for another 5 minutes. 5. Plum jam with gelatin

You will need: 1.3 kg plums, 600 g sugar, 6 tbsp. lemon juice, 15 g gelatin, 1 tsp. butter.
Cooking: Finely chop the pitted plum, add the lemon juice and half the sugar, and leave for 1 hour. Dissolve gelatin in water as directed. Bring the plum to a boil and boil for 4 minutes, and then mash with a crush. Add the remaining sugar and boil for another 5-7 minutes. Stir gelatin into jam until dissolved, then add butter, mix again and roll into sterile jars.
6. Plum jam with walnuts
Plum with nuts is one of the best combinations of ingredients. You can pour a spoonful of cognac or your favorite liquor while boiling.
You will need: 1.5 kg of plums, 70 g of walnuts, 800 g of granulated sugar, 1 tsp. lemon zest, 150 ml of water.
Cooking: Remove the seeds from the plum, cover with water and boil for 10 minutes. Grind the mass with a blender and bring to a boil again. Add sugar, zest and chopped nuts. Boil everything together for about 20-30 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally. Roll up jam for the winter in sterile jars.
7. Plum and apple jam
One of the thickest jams in which there is literally a spoon.
You will need: 800 g apples, 600 g plums, 700 g sugar, 100 ml water.
Cooking: Peel and cut apples, pour in water and boil for 10-15 minutes until soft. Add chopped plums and cook for another 15 minutes. Grind the mass through a sieve, boil again, boil for 5 minutes and add sugar. Cook jam for another 10-15 minutes and pour into sterile jars.
8. Plum and apricot jam
A wonderful recipe for jam from available country fruits.
You will need: 1 kg plums, 1 kg apricots, 800 ml water, 1.5 kg sugar.
Cooking: Boil water with sugar and boil the syrup for 10 minutes. Send chopped plums and apricots into it, remove from heat and let cool. Grind everything with a blender, bring the jam back to a boil and cook to the desired density. Roll it up for the winter in sterile jars.
9. Plum jam with cognac
Quite a bit of strong alcohol leaves no trace, but gives an interesting aftertaste.
You will need: 3 kg plums, 2 apples, 1 tbsp. cinnamon, 100 ml of water, 20 g of vanilla sugar, 2 kg of sugar, 50 ml of cognac.
Cooking: Mix both types of sugar and water, and boil over medium heat until dissolved. Add cinnamon and finely chopped peeled apples, and bring to a boil again. Then add the chopped plums, stir and cook the jam for half an hour under the lid over low heat.
Take out the fruit with a slotted spoon, chop it with a blender and send it back. Pour in the cognac, bring the jam back to a boil, boil to the desired density and pour it into sterile jars.
10. Plum and pear jam
You can add a couple more apples or apricots to this recipe.
You will need: 700 g plums, 700 g pears, 300 g granulated sugar, 0.5 tsp. citric acid.
Cooking: Peel the pears, remove the pits from the plums, chop everything randomly and mix with sugar and citric acid. Leave fruit for 2-3 hours. Bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes and remove from heat for another 2-3 hours. Repeat the previous step. Grind the jam with a blender and boil for the last five minutes. Roll up in sterile jars for the winter.
11. Plum and peach jam

You will need: 1 kg plums, 1 kg peaches, 1 kg sugar, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 tsp. lemon juice.

Cooking: Remove the zest from the oranges and grind the pulp separately without films. Randomly cut the plum and beat everything with a blender. Mix fruit puree with sugar and boil for about half an hour until thickened. Roll it up in sterile jars.
13. Plum and strawberry jam

You will need: 600 g plums, 400 g strawberries, 1 cup sugar, 1 lemon, 1/3 cup honey.
