1. Summer cherry plum compote

Simple yet very tasty!
You will need: 300 g cherry plum, 5 tbsp. sugar, 3 liters of water.
Cooking: Boil water, add cherry plum and boil for 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, cool slightly and add the sugar. Stir, cover the compote with a lid and put aside for half an hour.
2. Compote of cherry plum, apples and pears

Boil compote over low heat.
You will need: 300 g of cherry plum, 2 apples, 2 pears, 1/2 cup sugar, 5 liters of water.
Cooking: Peel apples and pears and chop. Boil water, pour cherry plum and chopped fruit into it. Boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat and cool compote to room temperature. Add sugar, stir and leave covered for 30 minutes.
3. Compote of cherry plum and apples with mint

Instead of mint, you can add lemon balm, sage or chamomile flowers.
You will need: 500 g of cherry plum, 2 medium apples, 50 g of mint, 150 g of granulated sugar, 4 liters of water.
Cooking: Cut the apples into quarters, peel them and put them in a pot of boiling water along with mint and cherry plum. Boil all 5 minutes after boiling again, turn off and cool slightly. Add sugar, cover and let cool. Pour the compote into jars and put in the refrigerator.
4. Cherry plum compote with allspice without sugar

Ripe cherry plums give in slightly under light finger pressure.
You will need: 300 g of cherry plum, 2 peas of allspice, 3 liters of water.
Cooking: Pour cherry plum and allspice into boiling water. Boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat and leave covered. Pour the cooled compote into clean bottles and put in the refrigerator.
5. Compote of cherry plum, cherry and mint

Boil compote in advance so that it has time to infuse.
You will need: 300 g cherry plum, 300 g cherries, 20 g mint, 1/2 cup sugar, 4 liters of water.
Cooking: Prepare cherry plum, cherry and mint and pour into a pot of boiling water. Boil for 5 minutes, remove from heat and cool slightly. Add sugar, mix and leave the compote to infuse under the lid.
6. Cherry plum and blackcurrant compote

Do not cook compote from damaged fruits.

Cooking: Rinse the cherry plum and put it in sterilized jars, filling no more than one third. Pour boiling water to the top, cover with lids and put aside for 30 minutes. Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, citric acid and boil for 3 minutes. Pour boiling syrup into jars, roll up and turn upside down.

You will need: 500 g of cherry plum, 100 g of honey, 4 liters of water.

9. Cherry plum compote with sterilization

The time of sterilization is noted from the moment the compote boils in jars.
You will need: 1 kg of cherry plum, 200 g of sugar, citric acid at the tip of a knife, 5 liters of water.
Cooking: Rinse the cherry plum and put it in prepared jars, taking up no more than half of the volume. Boil water, add sugar, citric acid and boil for 2-3 minutes. Pour boiling syrup into jars, sterilize for 15 minutes and roll up.
10. Cherry plum compote with lemon juice for the winter

To prevent the cherry plum from bursting, pierce it with a needle in several places.
You will need: 1 kg of cherry plum, 300 g of sugar, 5 tbsp. lemon juice, 8 liters of water.
Cooking: Put the cherry plum in prepared cans, occupying no more than one third of the volume. Pour boiling water over, cover with lids and leave to warm for 30 minutes. Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar and boil for 2 minutes. Pour lemon juice and boiling syrup into jars with cherry plum. Roll up compote, turn upside down and wrap with a thick towel.
11. Cherry plum compote with mint and orange peels

Don’t forget to rinse the orange peels with boiling water.
You will need: 1 kg of cherry plum, 5 sprigs of mint, peels of one orange, 350 g of sugar, citric acid at the tip of a knife, 8 liters of water.
Cooking: Put the washed cherry plum and mint into sterilized jars. Fill with boiling water and leave covered for half an hour. Drain the water into a saucepan, add the orange peels and boil for 5 minutes. Take out the crusts and discard. Pour sugar and citric acid into jars with cherry plum. Pour in boiling syrup, roll up and wrap with a thick towel.
12. Compote of cherry plum and zucchini for the winter

You will be surprised how harmoniously these ingredients combine!
You will need: 1 kg of cherry plum, 200 g of zucchini, 350 g of sugar, 50 ml of lemon juice, 8 liters of water.
Cooking: Cut the zucchini into small cubes and put them together with the cherry plum in prepared jars. Fill them to the top with boiling water, cover with lids and leave to warm up for 30 minutes. Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar and boil for 3 minutes. Add lemon juice, pour hot syrup into jars and roll up.

You will need: 500 g of cherry plum, 200 g of grapes, 1 cup of sugar, citric acid at the tip of a knife, 6 liters of water.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add the cinnamon and boil for 10 minutes. Take out the cinnamon and discard. Pour citric acid and sugar into jars. Pour in the boiling syrup, roll up the compote and turn it upside down.
16. Peach and cherry plum compote

Anyone can make this delicious drink!
You will need: 1 kg of cherry plum, 3 peaches, 350 g of sugar, citric acid at the tip of a knife, 8 liters of water.
Cooking: Cut the peaches in half, remove the pits and chop. Put cherry plums and pieces of peaches in jars, taking up no more than half the volume. Pour in boiling water and leave covered for 30 minutes. Drain the water into a saucepan, add citric acid, sugar and boil for 3 minutes. Pour boiling syrup into jars, roll up and wrap the compote for a day with a thick towel.
17. Refreshing plum and lemon compote

This compote makes you want to cook again and again.
You will need: 1 kg of apples, 2 lemons, 400 g of sugar, 8 liters of water.
Cooking: Rinse the lemons with boiling water and cut into slices together with the peel. Place cherry plums and slices of lemons in sterilized jars. Fill with boiling water to the top, cover with lids and leave for 20-30 minutes. Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar and boil for 3 minutes.
