Unusual powdered matcha tea has long gained popularity all over the world. It is used for a variety of tasks – as a natural dye, for cooking and, of course, for drinks. Even though matcha is a tea, it makes a great latte. We share 15 great recipes!
1. Matcha latte with milk
A classic matcha latte recipe with regular milk, just like in your favorite coffee shop.
You will need: 300 ml milk, 100 ml water, 5 g matches, 1 tsp. Sahara.
Cooking: Mix matcha powder and sugar, pour in water at a temperature of about 80 degrees, and stir everything with a whisk until dissolved. Pour into a glass. Separately, heat the milk, without bringing it to a boil, and beat it with a cappuccinatore or blender. Pour into the same glass.
2. Matcha latte with almond milk
Especially this recipe will appeal to vegans and PP lovers.
You will need: 80 ml water, 1 tsp. matches, 150 ml of almond milk.
Cooking: Sift the matcha powder into a container, pour in hot water and whisk for a few minutes until foamy. Separately, heat and whisk the almond milk with a blender or cappuccinatore. Pour the milk into the tea in a thin stream.
3. Matcha latte with honey and oat milk
Add a little more or less honey to taste.
You will need: 140 ml water, 300 ml oat milk, 2 tsp. honey, 8 g matches.
Cooking: Whisk matcha and hot water for 3 minutes. Pour into glasses and add a spoonful of honey. Heat the oat milk, also whisk until foamy, and pour on top.
4. Matcha latte with ice
A refreshing summer matcha latte recipe that’s amazingly cool.
You will need: 200 ml plant milk, 160 ml water, 1 tsp. matches, 1 handful of ice.
Cooking: Heat water to 80 degrees and whisk with matcha powder. Separately, heat vegetable milk, without bringing to a boil, and whisk it until foamy. Put ice in a glass, pour tea, and milk on it.
5. Banana milk matcha latte
One of the most unusual variations of all!
You will need: 200 ml banana milk, 50 ml water, 1 tsp. matches.
Cooking: Heat the banana milk and beat it well with a blender or cappuccinatore. Whisk matcha separately with hot water, pour into a glass, and top with banana milk.
6. Coconut milk matcha latte
If desired, sprinkle the finished drink with coconut flakes before serving.
You will need: 1 tsp matches, 60 ml water, 220 ml coconut milk.
Cooking: Heat water to 80 degrees, whisk with matcha powder for 3 minutes, and pour into a glass. Separately, heat the coconut milk and whisk until foamy in any convenient way. Pour it right there.
7. Soy milk matcha latte
Soy milk is naturally sweet, so sugar and honey can be dispensed with.
You will need: 1.5 tsp matches, 100 ml of water, 250 ml of soy milk.
Cooking: Whisk the matcha powder and hot water together and pour into a glass to serve. Heat the soy milk almost to a boil and whisk thoroughly until frothy. Pour into a glass on top of the matcha.
8. Matcha latte with Jerusalem artichoke syrup
Jerusalem artichoke syrup is the best PP sweetener for matcha latte.
You will need: 1 tsp matches, 1 tsp Jerusalem artichoke syrup, 250 ml vegetable milk, 40 ml water.
Cooking: Whisk matcha with hot water with a whisk or cappuccinatore. Pour into a glass and add syrup. Separately, heat vegetable milk somewhere up to 80 degrees, and also beat it into foam. Pour on top.
9. Coconut oil matcha latte
The drink turns out to be very unusual, and even satisfying.
You will need: 0.5 tbsp matches, 60 ml of milk, 175 ml of boiling water, 0.5 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 tbsp. honey, 12 g coconut oil.
Cooking: Place all ingredients, except milk, into a blender, froth, and pour into a serving glass. Separately, heat the milk, without bringing to a boil, also beat and pour on top.
10. Vanilla Matcha Latte
You can add ice and serve this latte cold.
You will need: 200 ml almond milk, 50 ml water, 0.5 tsp. vanilla extract, 2 tsp. honey, 1 tsp matches.
Cooking: Whisk hot water and matcha powder. Add honey and vanilla, and whisk again, and then pour into a glass. Separately, heat the almond milk and whisk until fluffy. Pour it to hayu.
11. Matcha latte with ice without water
One of the best recipes for the hottest days!
You will need: 250 ml coconut milk, 1 tbsp. matches, 1 tsp agave syrup, 2 pinches of ground cinnamon, ice.
Cooking: Put ice in a glass. Whisk milk with matcha and syrup until foamy with a whisk or cappuccinatore, and pour over ice. Sprinkle the finished matcha latte with cinnamon to taste.
12. Matcha latte with espresso
Double portion of vivacity for busy everyday life.
You will need: 250 ml plant milk, 40 ml espresso, 2 tsp. matches, 50 ml of water, 2 tbsp. coconut oil, 1 tsp honey.
Cooking: Heat the milk and whisk it until fluffy foam in any convenient way. Whisk matcha with hot water, coconut oil and honey. Take turns pouring the espresso, matcha and milk into the glass.
13. Matcha latte with whipped cream
Everything turns out very airy and gentle!
You will need: 200 ml milk, 20 ml whipping cream, 1 tsp. matches, 30 ml of water, 1 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract.
Cooking: Whisk matcha with hot water, add sugar and vanilla extract, and whisk again. Add cream and whisk together until peaks form. Pour cold or hot milk to taste into a glass, and top with matcha cream.
14. Matcha latte with instant coffee
A convenient and everyday quick matcha latte recipe.
You will need: 250 ml milk, 1 tsp. instant coffee, 2 tsp matches, 50 ml of water, 1 tsp. Sahara.
Cooking: Whisk hot water, instant coffee, sugar and matcha until frothy with a whisk or cappuccinatore. Pour into a glass. Separately, heat the milk almost to a boil, whisk it until fluffy and pour on top.
15. Blue Matcha Latte
For this recipe, you will need anchan blue Thai tea powder, which is reminiscent of matcha.
You will need: 5 g anchan tea, 200 ml coconut milk, 100 ml water, 1 tsp. syrup to taste.
Cooking: Whisk hot water, anchan and syrup. Separately, heat the milk almost to a boil and whisk it into a lush foam. Pour a third of the milk into a glass, tea, and milk again.
