The best universal side dish for meat, fish and sausages in nature is, of course, potatoes on the grill. Do you think there is absolutely no room for fantasy here, and potatoes always remain potatoes? But we managed to collect 10 chic recipes for its preparation!

1. Potatoes on the grill

The main thing is to choose potatoes of approximately the same size.

You will need: 5 potatoes, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, spices.

Cooking: Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise and rub each with the spice oil. Place them on a wire rack, pinch them on both sides and bake for about 20 minutes at a good heat, turning every 5 minutes.

2. Potatoes with bacon in foil

Potatoes in foil always bake well and evenly.

You will need: 1 kg potatoes, 150 g bacon, spices, 50 ml teriyaki, 20 g sesame.

Cooking: Cut the washed potatoes into slices about 1 cm thick and roll in spices. Cut the bacon into thin slices, and put them on skewers, alternating. Wrap the potatoes in foil, send to the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes. And then unfold, pour teriyaki sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Potatoes in a wood-fired cauldron are much more aromatic than in the oven or on the stove.

You will need: 500 g potatoes, 1 onion, 2 cloves of garlic, 100 ml vegetable oil, 1 bunch of herbs, spices.

Cooking: Pour oil into a hot pot and wait until it heats up. Coarsely chop the potatoes and fry, stirring occasionally.

When the potatoes turn golden, add spices, onion rings, and fry for a couple more minutes. After that, add chopped greens, and after 4-5 minutes, remove the cauldron from the heat.

4. Potatoes with lard on skewers

It is very convenient to cook it in parallel with the usual barbecue.

You will need: 6 potatoes, 250 g bacon, 4 tbsp. vegetable oil, 2 cloves of garlic, spices.

Cooking: Cut the potatoes into slices about 1 cm thick, and the fat into squares twice as thin. Mix oil with spices and crushed garlic to taste.

Marinate potatoes in spicy oil, put them in an airtight bag and leave for half an hour. Put potatoes and bacon on skewers, alternating, and bake for about 20 minutes on the grill.

5. Grilled potatoes with vegetables

In fact, any vegetable will do just fine here.

You will need: 3 potatoes, 3 peppers, 3 onions, 3 tomatoes, 1 eggplant, 1 zucchini, vegetable oil, spices, 1 tbsp. lemon juice.

Cooking: Coarsely chop all the vegetables into pieces of approximately the same size. Roll well in spices and sprinkle with a little oil and lemon juice.

Gather everything on skewers in random order and fry on the grill until soft. Before serving, you can again sprinkle the vegetables with lemon juice and sprinkle with herbs.

6. Potatoes with mushrooms on the grill

It is difficult to find someone who would not like this dish.

You will need: 5 potatoes, 10 champignons, 1 onion, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 bay leaf, 1 bunch of herbs, spices.

Cooking: Cut the potatoes into halves of circles, mushrooms into plates, and onions into half rings. Lay everything in layers on foil, preferably folded in half.

Sprinkle the ingredients with spices on top, spread out a couple of sprigs of greens and wrap everything in another sheet of foil on top. Cook the side dish on the wire rack for 10 minutes on each side.

7. Potatoes in sour cream, baked on the grill

We recommend using thicker sour cream.

You will need: 1 kg potatoes, 3 tbsp. sour cream, 2 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp. mustard, spices.

Cooking: Cut the potatoes into thick rings about 2 cm thick. Mix all the ingredients for the marinade, and leave the potatoes in it for about an hour in an airtight bag. Put on the grill and cook over the coals.

8. Potatoes in mayonnaise on the grill

Thanks to mayonnaise, the crust becomes even more tender and golden.

You will need: 1 kg potatoes, 3 tbsp. mayonnaise, spices, 2 cloves of garlic, 3 onions.

Cooking: Boil small potatoes in their skins until half cooked. Mix it with chopped onion rings, minced garlic, mayonnaise and spices. Leave to marinate for 20 minutes, put on skewers, alternating with onion rings, and fry for another 15-20 minutes on hot coals.

9. Potatoes in mustard-honey marinade

Wonderfulcombined with chicken or pork.

You will need: 1 kg potatoes, 60 ml olive oil, 2 tbsp. granular mustard, 1 tsp honey, spices.

Cooking: Mix all the ingredients for the marinade, and cut the potatoes into 3-4 parts. Coat each piece with mustard-honey mixture and place on a wire rack. Roast on coals for about 15-20 minutes, turning over.

10. Potatoes with chili and soy sauce

This marinade will appeal to all lovers of spicy food.

You will need: 1 kg potatoes, 50 ml olive oil, 4 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 chili, 5 cloves of garlic, 1 bunch of herbs, spices.

Cooking: Chop the chili, garlic and herbs as finely as possible. Mix them with spices, soy sauce and olive oil, and marinate coarsely chopped potatoes for at least half an hour. Roast the potatoes on the grill for 20 minutes.
